Oak Band Sawn Effect Unsealed 240 x 20 mm

Engineered Flooring 240 mm x 19 mm

Made to order 4 -6 weeks lead time

The versatile nature of Oak means this floor is perfect for all kinds of design scheme. From more traditional, natural looking styles to more contemporary, coloured finishes, Oak can be tailored to your preference.

Our engineered wood flooring meets modern requirements and keeps a traditional wood flooring appearance. The multiple layers of plywood backing give support to the visible top layer of the precious hardwood, resulting in a floor that looks and feels like a solid wood floor but that is suitable for under floor heating, can be laid over almost all types of sub floor, and can still be sanded and re-finished after years of use.

This type of flooring gets its name from traditional sawing techniques and the marks that the saw left behind when it skimmed the surface of the wood. The bandsawn effect has a more rugged, textured surface, creating a very trendy appearance.

Boards above 240 mm have a very contemporary feel and create a modern, streamline look. However, contrary to what many believe, wide boards aren’t just for large, open-plan rooms. With fewer joins than narrower boards, wide boards create a seamless clean look, so there’s less to distract the eye. This can really help to open up a space and shows off all the beauty of the timber in the process.

Unsealed products provide the flexibility to finish the wood in any colour once the floor is fitted. This gives you the option to have a completely bespoke floor, tailored to your personal preference.

Please note that this is a special product that’s made to order, with an approximate lead time of 4-6 weeks. Please speak to one of our wood flooring experts for exact timings.
We recommend adding 7-10% m2 to the total area for board or strip floors, or 10-15% for parquet.
