This type of flooring gets its name from traditional sawing techniques and the marks that the saw left behind when it skimmed the surface of the wood.
The bandsawn effect has a more rugged, textured surface, creating a very trendy appearance.
Oak is a highly popular species that is a real classic and is suitable for a wide range of finishes and appearances, so that you can achieve the style you want.
Our engineered wood flooring meets modern requirements and keeps a traditional wood flooring appearance. The multiple layers of plywood backing give support to the visible top layer of the precious hardwood, resulting in a floor that looks and feels like a solid wood floor but that is suitable for under floor heating, can be laid over almost all types of sub floor, and can still be sanded and re-finished after years of use.
This product is unsealed, giving you the opportunity to finish it as you like, using an oil to retain the warmer tones and characteristics of the wood, or a lacquer to enhance the wood’s natural hues.
Please note that this is a special product that’s made to order, with an approximate lead time of 4-6 weeks. Please speak to one of our wood flooring experts for exact timings.
