Enter the newest colour palette on the block, as seen at many of the biggest industry’s SS18 previews. Muted shades of dusky pink, watery mint and smokey grey are paired with deep and moody hues of midnight blue and forest green. Little pops of light are speckled through, with the introduction of yellow and gold accents to inject some serious elegance and grandeur to this grown up scheme. There is a fantastic use of texture too, from soft velvet, aged leathers and linens, right the way through to tarnished metals and terracotta. Opting for a neutral wooden floor sets the scene perfectly for this look, the Oak Parquet White Mist Oiled made from engineered wood is a hard wearing and stylish choice. It’s light tonal shades provide plenty of interest and can be laid in various designs to make the most of any room. This floor provides the perfect backdrop to this sophisticated scheme and is guaranteed to never go out of fashion.
