Delivering your wood floor
London & Greater London
Orders in London and the Greater London area are delivered either by our own drivers and vehicles or a trusted local courier. This keeps costs down for you and means we can offer more accurate delivery windows.
Rest of the UK
For deliveries further afield, we use a trusted network of couriers selected for their handling of bulky/palletised goods, good service history, and fair pricing. Delivery times may vary slightly by courier and region.
Scottish Highlands, Islands & other remote areas
These requests will be on an application basis.
How delivery works
- Kerbside delivery only— deliveries are made to the kerbside, driveway, or nearest point accessible to the delivery vehicle. Drivers cannot carry goods into your home, up stairs, or through to a back garden.
- Labour required— wood flooring, worktops, and similar products are heavy and often delivered on pallets. Please make sure you have enough people on hand to help unload on the day — our drivers work alone and can’t unload large orders single-handed.
- Vehicle access— please let us know in advance if there’s anything that could restrict a large delivery vehicle (narrow lane, low bridge, permit-only parking, etc.), so we can plan the right vehicle or advise on alternatives.
- Delivery day contact— please ensure that we have a contact number for the person in site receiving the delivery.
Signing for and checking your order
- An authorised person must be present to sign for the delivery— this is your proof of receipt.
- Please inspect before signing where possible.If any packaging or boards appear damaged, note this on the delivery paperwork before signing, and contact us within [X] hours/days with photos so we can resolve it quickly.
- If nobody is available to sign, the driver will return the order to the depot. Re-delivery will need to be rebooked and may be chargeable.
Accessories & small items
Selected accessories are available to order for next working day delivery via the site.
Delivery lead times
Flooring – If the item is in stock it can usually be delivered within a couple of working days, if it is not in stock then it could be up to 3 or 4 weeks depending on our production schedule.
Special orders allow a minimum 4 to 6 week lead time.
Delivery costs
All delivery costs are calculated on the delivery postcode and item size / weight.
Click & collect
Click & Collect orders are to be collected from 20 Smugglers Way, London, SW18 1EG
Damaged, missing, or incorrect items
If your order arrives damaged, incomplete, or incorrect, please contact us within [X] days with your order number and photos, and we’ll sort a replacement or resolution as quickly as possible.
