The versatile nature of Oak means this floor is perfect for all kinds of design scheme. From more traditional, natural looking styles to more contemporary, coloured finishes, Oak can be tailored to your preference.

Our engineered wood flooring meets modern requirements and keeps a traditional wood flooring appearance. The multiple layers of plywood backing give support to the visible top layer of the precious oak hardwood, resulting in a floor that looks and feels like a solid oak floor but that can be laid over almost all types of sub floor, and can still be sanded and re-finished after years of use.

Advances in engineered flooring technology means that boards can now be longer and wider than ever. Our 300 mm Engineered Oak board is the widest in the range but if that’s too large for your needs, why not consider a slightly narrower 240 mm or 210 mm board.

Unsealed products provide the flexibility to finish the wood in any colour once the floor is fitted. This gives you the option to have a completely bespoke floor, tailored to your personal preference.

Our engineered board has been produced using WBP birch ply, manufactured to European standard EN 326-2. The adhesive used to bond the board is an E1 category, PUR adhesive (formaldehyde free) to DIN/EN 14257 and DIN/EN 204 low emission glue which is heat and water resistant in accordance with BS EN 14342:2005+A1. The top layer is kiln dried to between 8-12% moisture content.

The formaldehyde emissions are: 0,01 ppm, pentachlorophenol emissions: <0.8 mg/kg.
Thermal conductivity (W/mK) is 0,10W/mK.

Suitable for secret fixing to ply, battens or joist subfloor, floating on an underlay or a fully bonded installation to a screed subfloor. The unsealed board is supplied with a micro bevel along the length of the board, pre- sanded requiring only a light 100/120 grit sand to finish.

Compatible for use in conjunction with underfloor heating the board complies with BS 8201:2011, rated in accordance with BS EN 13501-1, and is classified D fl -S1 when laid as a fixed floor on a structural subfloor or E fl- S1 when laid on battens or joists for minimal smoke production.

Engineered: 2 part Engineered floor with a Hardwood top surface bonded to a multilayer waterproof Birch Plywood. Boards can be Nailed, Stuck Down, or Floated depending on product type and sub floor. Parquet woodblocks must be stuck down. All floors are Tongue and Groove with Ends Matched unless stated otherwise.

Floating: A floating floor is not physically connected to the sub floor. Normally laid on an underlay, the floor is joined by gluing the tongue and groove together or by using a click system.

Micro Bevelled: Micro Bevelled means a very small v shape can be seen on the long sides of the boards. The ends have no bevel.

Nail Fitting: Nail fixing is usually done via a nail gun, e.g. Porta-Nailer, where a serrated nail is inserted through the tongue at 45 degrees.

Stick Down: Sticking involves the use of an adhesive to bond the wood flooring to either a concrete/screed sub floor or to a ply/chipboard sub floor.

Under Floor Heating: This product is compatible for use over an electric or water under floor heating system. The maximum temperature must not exceed 27 degrees Celsius at the floor surface.
