Our Engineered overlays have the same beautiful look and feel of solid wood but with a much more efficient use of material. Engineered overlay floors can only be laid over an existing subfloor, not as a structural floor. Overlays are made up of a top layer of precious hardwood with a multi-layer ply backing, meaning this floor has the same beautiful appearance of solid wood but is a much more efficient and sustainable use of material.

Unsealed products provide the flexibility to finish the wood in any colour once the floor is fitted. This can be anything from a clear sealer, to bring out the beauty of the wood, to a coloured finish to create an individual, bespoke feel. This is ideal for colour matching with an existing floor or simply to introduce a particular shade into a design scheme.
