Botanical Mood Board
Charlotte Jade creates unique print designs and patterns inspired by nature.
Head Designer Charlotte O’Reilly offers these clever tips to get the botanical look.
“It’s all about bringing the beauty of our natural world inside our homes and capturing the organic textures, details and rich colours. If you don’t want the look to be too overwhelming, use lush foliage designs on cushions or hang botanical prints on walls. If you want to go for it, then wallpaper or sofas covered with big bold leafy designs such as our Tropical Flora or Hybrid Flora will make a dramatic statement. Pick up accent colours from the large patterns, as done here with the dusky pink mellowed with lush greens fabrics, mixing up the textures with linen, cotton and velvet. To bring a sense of serenity and calm to the scheme, tie it all together with the rich tones of a dark wooden floor. It’s always great to have an actual leafy green plant in there too, as you just can’t beat the real thing!”
