Flooring 240 × 20 mm
Boards above 240 mm have a very contemporary feel and create a modern, streamline look. However, contrary to what many believe, wide boards aren’t just for large, open-plan rooms. With fewer joins than narrower boards, wide boards create a seamless clean look, so there’s less to distract the eye. This can really help to open up a space and shows off all the beauty of the timber in the process.
Our engineered wood flooring meets modern requirements and keeps a traditional wood flooring appearance. The multiple layers of plywood backing give support to the visible top layer of the precious hardwood, resulting in a floor that looks and feels like a solid wood floor but that can be laid over almost all types of sub floor, and can still be sanded and re-finished after years of use.
The light tones of Oak mature from a pale tan-biscuit hue to a more honeyed look. Premier Oak has a more uniform and cleaner look that brings a refined elegance to a home. The lower knot content of premier Oak gives a more contemporary appearance.
Unsealed products can be used to introduce a particular shade into a design scheme and are also ideal for colour-matching with an existing look.

Engineered: 2 part Engineered floor with a Hardwood top surface bonded to a multilayer waterproof Birch Plywood. Boards can be Nailed, Stuck Down, or Floated depending on product type and sub floor. Parquet woodblocks must be stuck down. All floors are Tongue and Groove with Ends Matched unless stated otherwise.
Floating: A floating floor is not physically connected to the sub floor. Normally laid on an underlay, the floor is joined by gluing the tongue and groove together or by using a click system.
Micro Bevelled: Micro Bevelled means a very small v shape can be seen on the long sides of the boards. The ends have no bevel.
Nail Fitting: Nail fixing is usually done via a nail gun, e.g. Porta-Nailer, where a serrated nail is inserted through the tongue at 45 degrees.
Stick Down: Sticking involves the use of an adhesive to bond the wood flooring to either a concrete/screed sub floor or to a ply/chipboard sub floor.
Under Floor Heating: This product is compatible for use over an electric or water under floor heating system. The maximum temperature must not exceed 27 degrees Celsius at the floor surface.
