The light yellow-brown tones of Merbau age to become rich red-brown, giving a beautifully exotic look to the floor. This highly popular species is often used as a substitute for less sustainable options in high-end refurbishments or to achieve a more affordable look of luxury.
Engineered overlay floors can only be laid over an existing subfloor, not as a structural floor. Overlays are made up of a top layer of precious hardwood with a ply backing, meaning this floor has the same beautiful appearance of solid wood but is a much more efficient and sustainable use of material.
This floor is available in a 3 Strip or 1 Strip wide plank. The Ekowood 5G Clic system allows for quick and easy laying of the floor without the need for glue.
Many floors in this range are suitable for under floor heating.
