Oak Premier Oiled 180 x 15 mm

Our overlay boards are designed to be laid over a subfloor, whether concrete or an existing wood floor. Once laid, this floor looks and feels the same as all of our beautiful wood flooring but cannot be used as a structural floor.

Oak is a versatile species that takes pigments very well, so it lends itself well to pre-sealed flooring. The physical characteristics that give Oak its charm are still visible through the finish, so this floor has a naturally charming character and can be matched with the desired design scheme.

Premier Oak has a more uniform and cleaner look that brings a refined elegance to a home. The lower knot content of premier Oak gives a more contemporary appearance.

Our Engineered overlays have the same beautiful look and feel of solid wood but with a much more efficient use of material. This floor must be laid over an existing subfloor.

Oil finishes penetrate into the wood to protect the timber and in doing so, enhance the grain. This adds depth to the wood’s natural appearance in the process.

Clear Oiled Oak accentuates the natural characteristics of the species, letting the golden honeyed tones come through.
