Our engineered overlay wood flooring meets modern requirements and keeps a traditional wood flooring appearance. The multiple layers of plywood backing give support to the visible top layer of the precious hardwood, resulting in a floor that looks and feels like a solid wood floor but that is suitable for under floor heating and can still be sanded and re-finished after years of use. An overlay floor must be laid over an existing subfloor.

Traditional boards are about 125 mm wide, so any floor of this width will suit the proportions of older properties, especially those from the Victorian era. Narrow boards can be used effectively in all rooms and look particularly stunning in open warehouse style apartments and rooms with high ceilings.

The warm and rich tone of the wood is emphasised by the finish, which has no added colouring. Clear Oil accentuates the natural characteristics of the species, letting the golden honeyed tones come through.
